What happens during a session?

When you arrive

Upon arrival, your dog’s current health and health history will be discussed, they will then undergo a health check, and a quick shower.

Time to swim!

Your dog will then be gently encouraged into the pool via a ramp for ease and comfort. Timed swim sessions using techniques specific to their needs will then be undertaken.

The hydrotherapist will be in the water with your dog at all times, assisting when needed, and constantly watching for any abnormal movement.

Shower off

Following the swim, your dog will have a further shower to rinse any traces of chemicals (shampoo can be used if required) and a rough dry will be offered if your dog is happy with the blow drier.
